Godly Play
Kids: Pre-K through 5th Grade
Following the model of Godly Play, kids 3 to 10 are invited to an interactive storytelling time. Due to the pandemic, we are currently meeting on Zoom each Saturday at 11:15 am. Children gain the language of faith and enhance their spiritual experience through wonder and play. Everyone is encouraged to ask questions and be a part of the storytelling.

Confirmation
Youth: Grades 6-8
Youth of Christ on Capitol Hill learn about what it means to be a Christian today, who we are as Lutherans and how we can live out our faith each day. Over two years, confirmands will meet with the Four12 Youth each Sunday after worship. We also meet as “Deep Dive” once a month  with 10 other congregations in various places throughout the Twin Cities. Learning is then marked with the milestone of the celebration of Confirmation on the last Sunday in October, after which youth are invited to continue learning and growing with the community of Christ on Capitol Hill as the Four12 Youth.

Four12 Youth Group
Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

Youth are invited to join this group every Sunday after worship to learn and grow together. Each month, the youth also gather for service projects. Occasionally, we have game nights, lock-ins and fundraising events for summer events, such as the Amnicon, Camp Wapo & the ELCA National Gathering.

Adult Faith Formation
Come learn with us after worship on Sundays or seasonally on Wednesday evenings on a variety of topics from Bible Studies to guest speakers.

Books & Brunch meets the Second Saturday of each month, at someone’s home or by Zoom. Check the calendar for this month’s details.

CLCW
The women of Christ on Capitol Hill invite you to come join them on the third Thursday of each month to lunch and a Bible Study. They also organize fundraisers each year to benefit organizations such as Eagle’s Nest, Shobi’s Table, ELCA World Hunger, and many other places where the helpers are found.

Men’s Group
The men of Christ on Capitol Hill invite you to join them for  conversation each Wednesday evening from 4-5 pm during the school year. Due to the ongoing pandemic, the group is meeting on Zoom.
