When Mercy Meets Justice
Whose justice? What does justice look like to us, to God? This is a parable with economics at its heart. The word we translate as “economy” is understood as “household” in its original Greek. In other words, the topic of this parable is the “rules of the household.” What is this parable saying about the rules inside and outside of the household of faith, of the household of Jesus’ disciples?
