The prophet informs the people that God has filed charges against them. They, their ancestors, and their current leaders, have been cited for wrongdoing. The people were brought into a land of plenty, filled with good things. But they defiled it. They forgot that God brought them out of slavery into freedom and blessed them with these things. Instead, they made gods out of the gifts, using them and trying to hoard them for themselves. Is there any hope?
