June 29 – Eyes on the Prize
In a world full of distraction, “tennis ball,” how do we learn to stay focused on the main thing? How do we keep the main thing, the main thing? Jesus “sets his face to go to Jerusalem.” He walks with purpose toward rejection, suffering, and death. Jesus knows these are in his immediate future. However, these are not his goal. Jesus’ goal is what will be accomplished despite all of this, for all of us, and for every place in all time.
