What is the role of the people who follow the way of Jesus, in the Roman Empire? What is our role within the political, economic, and social systems in 21st century America? The one we follow, the one to whom we give witness, is not the leader of this or any other nation. Are we able to hear the Spirit calling us to remember, to reclaim our identity? Are we willing to reclaim our voice, bear witness to the truth as we know it, listen to one another, love one another and try to catch up with what the Spirit is doing in our time?
