April 6th – Sixth Sunday Of Lent
Zacchaeus (Righteousness + Mercy)
Jesus never called Zacchaeus out—no loud shaming, no public humiliation. Rather, this seems like the gentlest calling-in. Faced with Jesus’ tender warmth, Zacchaeus descends from the tree, rejoins the people, and immediately pledges restitution—a two-pronged act of reconciliation with both God and neighbor.
Readings: Isaiah 1:10-18; Luke 19:1-10

Generosity rises from the conviction that God has provided, and that we can participate in God’s work with our offerings. Give today.
