October 6 – Saint Francis Sunday + Animal Blessing
We are createdfor relationships and this not only means lifelong loving commitments but an ability to care for children and every being in creation. Jesus says that the kingdom of God belongs to little children, echoing the psalmist who sings, “O Lord our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!–you whose glory is chanted above the heavens out of the mouths of infants and children.”
