This week, 40 youth and adults from our five congregations–and thousands from across the nation–are gathering in New Orleans for the ELCA Youth Gathering.

The theme is Created to Be–Exactly Who God Made You to Be. The youth will gather, experience worship & concerts, serve with New Orleans residents, and learn about global hunger and what they can do to feed hungry people.

They will also get a taste of New Orleans culture and cuisine. Pray for them on this journey–for health and strength and daily good–through heat and stormy weather. May God bring so much good from this time together.

On Sunday, July 28, the 6 participants from Christ will share their stories of the ELCA Youth Gathering at the Outdoor Worship & Picnic!
