Worship November 5 2023

November 5 – All Saints’ Sunday

For All Saints’ Sunday, you are invited to bring a photo of a loved one to place on the high altar. Ringing bells, we will read the names of those who have died, and we’ll have the opportunity for anyone to light tapers in worship to remember those who have died.

All Saints celebrates the baptized people of God, living and dead, who are the body of Christ. As November heralds the dying, rest and seeding of the landscape in Minnesota, the readings and liturgy call us to remember all who have died in Christ and whose baptism is complete. At the Lord’s table we gather with the faithful of every time and place, trusting that the promises of God will be fulfilled and that all tears will be wiped away.

Revelation 7:9-17 and Matthew 5:1-12

Generosity rises from the conviction that God has provided, and that we can participate in God’s work with our offerings. Give today.
