Finance Administrator

Part-time: 8 hours/week
Christ on Capitol Hill (COCH) is seeking candidates for the position of Finance Administrator.
This is a part-time, 8-hour per week, primarily on-site position, with some remote flexibility.
Usual hours will consist of one eight-hour work day per week (which day to be negotiated at
time of hire) and one thirty-minute evening meeting per month. Applicants for this role should be
detail-oriented and have demonstrated experience in finance and familiarity with church and/or
non-profit organizations.

Responsibilities:
● Administer all Accounts Payable; this includes bill payments, benevolence payments,
and check requests
● Maintain data entry within QuickBooks, including documenting expense transactions,
deposits, and completing monthly bank statement reconciliation
● Administer Payroll through Patriot software in collaboration with Clergy Financial
● Produce and distribute quarterly donor statements via Servant Keeper
● Assist Council Treasurer in creating financial reports
● Attend monthly Finance Meetings
Qualifications & Requirements:
● Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
● Demonstrated skills in budget management
● Competent and comfortable navigating technology systems
● Demonstrated proficiency with QuickBooks
● Experience with payroll and/or donor software is preferred
● Experience in a non-profit or church environment is preferred

Compensation: $22-$27/hour, commensurate with experience
