May 8 – An Astonishing Imitation
The gift of new life, of eternal life, is the gift of the risen Christ. It is the promise of Jesus. Peter imitates Jesus, raising Tabitha from death to new life. We are invited to imitate Jesus, too, on a daily basis. We imitate Christ in love and service to others.
