God is powerful to accomplish more in and through us that we could ever ask or imagine. Even if we can’t grasp the extent of God’s love, through God’s powerful love, we explore, embrace and try to live it out with the wider community in all its diversity. Today Jesus feeds thousands of people with five loaves and two fish. It is not the adequacy of our supplies or our skills that finally makes the difference: it is the power of Jesus working in the littlest and least to transform this world into the world God desires, a world where all the hungry are satisfied.
