We are a diverse people brought together by the grace of God
to share with others what we ourselves have received.

Our mission statement describes our congregational identity as a “diverse people brought together by the grace of God.”
That identity is inclusive of all people – of every race, national origin, immigration status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, physical or mental ability, socio-economic status, family configuration, presence of doubt, or any other human distinction – who have come together with a vision to be a tree of life in the middle of the city. We commit to working for greater racial equity in our congregation and community. To those who have felt excluded by word or act, know that we welcome everyone to fully participate in this Christian community in both our preaching and our practice. Our differences are gifts, and we celebrate these bountiful gifts to increasingly share the grace of God.
